I had a great time at your workshop. Having the models be so involved and telling us about their experience with their own hair and how they’d also learnt what was good and bad was fantastic and encouraging. It’s really given me more confidence. I’d love to get more experience styling Afro Hair too as well as doing natural styles. The price point and time was great, affordable and also with it being on a weekend it was much less likely for there to be a need to reschedule due to work commitments. I also loved your informal, friendly and open style of teaching it really made me feel comfortable asking questions. I’d highly recommend you and your workshop.
Many thanks,
Bex

As a hair and makeup artist, I’m always looking for courses to improve my skills. Angela showed me not only to style afro hair, but also to understand it and the history behind it. Her way of teaching makes it very easy to follow and gives you the tools to practice and discover more on your own time. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s interested in learning more about afro hair be it in a professional or personal level.

I attended Angela Stewart’s first Afro Hair workshop during November 2019. Angela is warm and welcoming with a wealth of knowledge from the historic background to the care and practical styling. The Models provided were also of a friendly and helpful disposition.
With Angela’s patience, guidance and reassurance, individuals with no hairstyling background such as myself, through to professional hairstylists and Barbers were accommodated. Sadly the class passed far too quickly.
I would highly recommend Angela’s future classes to anyone whom wishes to learn Afro Hairstyling.
